Information:
We visit the Maya city of Cobá with its magnificent main pyramid, which is the tallest in the Yucatán Peninsula. It is located amidst the majestic Maya jungle, surrounded by beautiful lagoons. You will enjoy this tour accompanied at all times by a guide certified by the INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History).
We have 2 options for you: Cultural and Xtreme.
A) Coba Cultural: Visit the Archaeological Zone of Cobá, where you will also get to know two different Maya villages, where you will hear stories about their traditions and way of life. You will be shown the endemic Melipona bees of the region and you can taste handmade corn tortillas made on the spot by Maya women. You will also participate in a pottery workshop where the guide will teach you Maya pottery techniques (materials included, and you can take home your own souvenir piece). Refresh yourself in crystal-clear waters inside one of the many ancestral cenotes of the region and delight in a delicious buffet of typical regional cuisine.
B) Coba Xtreme (only private tour): In this exciting adventure, we will take you to explore the Archaeological Zone of Cobá with its impressive Nohoch Mul Pyramid. Enjoy an incredible ATV tour that will get your adrenaline pumping, have fun flying over the treetops on zip lines, and we will take you to cool off in crystal-clear water in two beautiful cenotes, one cave with mystical stalagmites and stalactites and then an open cenote. In this great expedition, you will also enjoy a delicious buffet of typical regional cuisine.
Throughout this day you’ll be in the expert hands of our professional tour guides. They will be providing you with all the information and safety measures to follow, and ensure you’re living and enjoying this experience completely.
